Addimult was founded by Hans-Wolfgang Kubler, the son of Carl Kubler, who founded Addiator in 1920. He worked for Addiator in the 1930s and opened a new factory in Switzerland in the 1940s. Ca 1946 production started in Liechtenstein, initially as Addiator, then Addimult, later moving back to Germany. Post World War II, the Addimultant Sumax-S was manufactured in West Germany.
