Model 2500D Telephone

The Model 2500D Telephone was introduced by 1968 by Bell Labs. The phone iterates on the earlier 1500D model by adding # and * keys to the touch tone dial pad. Since the hardware change is so simplistic, 1500D units could be upgraded with 2500D internals, which this particular one has been. The red handset is hardwired to the base of the phone.
