Design Line Stowaway Phone

The Design Line series of phones were produced by Bell System. This particular phone is enclosed in a wooden box intended to be obscured within an office environment, and utilizes a touch tone dial pad for input. The cream-colored handset is connected via a retractable cord, and the base of the handset has an RJ11 connector on the bottom for hooking up to the phone line.
