Bendix G-15 Master Writer

The Bendix G-15 Master Writer is a modified IBM Model 1 typewriter with a longer carriage that can support wider types of paper, and an interfacing base that communicates to and from the computer. It features a full QWERTY-style kayboard with additional keys for certain functions (like a margin setting), and is enclosed in a muted mint green steel chassis. The interfacing base has three switches that directly control actions that the computer takes, such as executing a loaded program or a single, printing out the contents of the accumulator, etc. The unit is capable of sending and receiving 8 characters per second.
