UNIVAC-1 Module

This is a processor module from a UNIVAC-1, the first general-purpose electronic computer designed in the United States produced by Remington Rand, originally designed by ENIAC inventors J. Presper Eckert and John Mauchly. The module features 7 electron tubes and various other supporting componentry, and features gold-plated pins on the bottom where it would have connected to the rest of the computer and aided in processing, and could be secured in place by two long screws on either side of the steel frame.
