Gould 220 Analog Recorder

The Gould 220 is a two-channel analog recorder produced by the Instruments division of Gould Incorporated. The unit comes in either four speed or eight speed variants, the main difference between them being the number of ink pens inside that draw onto specialized paper fed from a roller. On the front, on each side of the main paper area, are inputs from any analog source to be measured along with sensitivity and positioning knobs to control how the pens react to incoming signals, as well as two holders for an optional take-up roller for the paper. On the rear is the hardwired power cord as well as a kickstand for propping the unit up diagonally.
