The Open House is 4PM –8PM on October 18th at System Source, 338 Clubhouse Road, Hunt Valley, MD. Wine, beer and light refreshments will be served.
The System Source Computer Museum is hosting an open house to celebrate the opening of the new IBM Gallery. The featured exhibit in this new gallery is the complete IBM System/360 Model 20, on loan from Adam Bradley and Chris Blackburn. The gallery also features other IBM midrange and mainframe computers, including a restored and functional IBM 1130 from 1965!
Adam and Chris found the computer on eBay in Germany, and brought it back to the United Kingdom, and eventually sent it to us. The System/360 is important in the history of computers, being the first "family" with a line of computers and peripherals that were compatible with each other. Come by and see the new gallery to learn more!
